As volunteers our “Vibe Tribe”, you play a critical role in creating a vibrant, organized, and welcoming atmosphere for all our attendees, participants, and faculty. Our festival thrives on the energy, dedication, and passion of volunteers like you who come together from various backgrounds to support and celebrate the spirit of yoga and wellness.

From the HQ Team to Facilities to Marketing and Social Media, each department has specific needs and responsibilities outlined to ensure you understand the scope of your role and how it contributes to the festival's overarching goals. Your involvement is not just about the tasks at hand but about building a community that values health, wellness, and the joy of yoga.

  • What We Expect...

    Availability: We require volunteers to be available throughout the festival’s four days. Preference will be given to those who are also available to assist before and after the festival.

    Work Commitment: Dedicate 20 hours to festival tasks, spread over 4-5 days to ensure you have plenty of time to experience the event.

    Orientation: You must attend an essential orientation session, which will be held on Wednesday from 6-7:30PM in the Burbank building at Jiminy Peak. 

    Deposit: A $79 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your participation. This fee covers your shirt, hat and ticket. 

    Self-Sufficiency: Volunteers are responsible for their own accommodations, meals, and transportation. We will provide details on nearby lodging (Hotels) and camping options.

  • How to Join

    Eligibility: Open to anyone ages 18+ passionate about advancing the field of yoga. We plan to select between 30-60 volunteers for this festival.

    Application Process: Volunteer applications are available below, with final selections made in May.

    Selection Criteria: We select volunteers based on their availability, skills, and enthusiasm.

    Authenticity in Applications: It is crucial that all responses to application questions are truthful and genuine to facilitate appropriate volunteer placements.

 Volunteer Teams

Volunteers will be assigned to one or more of 9 different “Teams” listed below based on their skills and expertise. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work closely with Festival Management gaining valuable skills and insights into the organization of large events.

  • Aquarius vibe team

    Responsible for creating and maintaining a high vibration of positivity, creativity, and openness at the festival. This could mean public displays of art, dancing, body paint, painting tribal, taking classes that lack attendance, being visible in the marketplace and vendor village.

    Requirements: Festival experience. Extroverted personality wit love of connecting with people. Special skill a plus EX: Huge Bubble Making, Fire Dancing, Belly Dancing, Henna, Aerial Arts, Live Music, Busking, etc…

  • AV Team

    Help ensure teachers have great audio. Adjusting mic’s, speakers, etc… This team also may run livestreaming equipment on some lectures.

    Requirements: A background in streaming and/or AV is needed. 

  • Classroom Team

    This team’s job is to be stationed at each classroom to handle check-in and attendance for each class. You will have an app that allows you to track attendance. This role let’s you sit in and partially participate in classes after check-in is complete. You also may need to support the presenter pre-class. Requirements: Being personable and good with a smartphone is required, ability to task switch quickly, and problem solve, customer service mindset and experience. Ability to handle the pressure of 100 people trying to get into a room 15 mins before the class start. Front desk experience at a busy yoga studio is helpful.

  • Facility & Decor Team

    Help the Festival Director prepare the venue, including setting up safety measures, placing signage, decorations and general maintenance tasks. Help with stage setups during the festival and breakdown at the end. Requirements: Can comfortably lift a 30lb bag. Ok with manual labor. Comfortable going on a ladder.

  • HQ / Customer Service Team

    HQ Team: Assist in the check-in process, distribute event materials and swag bags, manage on-site ticket sales, and provide general support to the registration staff. You may also be stationed throughout the festival to answer questions and provide information to attendees. Requirements: Being personable and enjoying customer service, quick with information and details, multitasking.

  • Marketing & Social Media Team

    Assist in managing live updates, engaging with online communities, and supporting the Social Media Manager in content creation. Support the official photographer/videographer by capturing moments throughout the event, managing equipment, and assisting in cataloging images and footage. Requirements: Expertise OR Love of yoga social media, videography or yoga photography experience.

  • Medical Team

    Be available at the Medical Tent, provide basic first aid, and support during medical emergencies under professional supervision. Requirements: Minimum requirement is CPR certification and good bedside manner, Licensed Medical Professionals recommended: ex: Doctors, PA’s, Nurses, PT’s, and other Medical Professionals.

  • Presenter Concierge Team

    Help pamper our Presenters so they can give their best to all participants. Manage Presenter logistics including transportation schedules, accommodation details, and ensuring all logistical needs are met on time with low stress. Requirements: Good organizational skills, quick task switching, attention to detail, problem solving, knowledge of the Berkshires, cultural sensitivity and ability to maintain a customer service attitude under pressure.

  • Vendor & Sponsor Team

    Support the Operations Manager in managing relationships with vendors, helping with setup, addressing vendor inquiries, and ensuring vendors have what they need. Assist in setting up and dismantling vendor spaces, organizing vendor materials, and ensuring the vendor area is clean and well-maintained. Requirements: Customer service attitude, problem solving, rolling up your sleeves and helping, Good communication skills, Attention to detail.
