Schedule Spotlight: Intensives
Registration for the 2026 Berkshire Yoga Festival is now open! With over 200 sessions to choose from, there is something for everyone!
Are you the kind of yogi who loves to go deeper?
The one who stays after class to ask questions.
Who wants to understand the body — not just move through poses.
Who leaves workshops with pages of notes and new inspiration.
The Thursday Intensives at Berkshire Yoga Festival are designed for people like you.
These longer-format sessions offer three uninterrupted hours to study with some of the most respected voices in yoga today, including teachers like Leslie Kaminoff, Rod Stryker, Jill Miller, Sandra Anderson, and more.
Intensives create space for real exploration — the kind of learning that can shift your understanding of practice, teaching, and the body itself.
Across the day, presenters guide immersive explorations into topics such as:
yoga anatomy and biomechanics
meditation and subtle body practices
somatic psychology and nervous system regulation
teaching methodology and leadership
specialized therapeutic applications of yoga
All Intensives take place Thursday, the opening day of the festival, with two extended learning blocks morning 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and afternoon 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
For many attendees — especially teachers and longtime practitioners — these sessions become one of the most meaningful parts of the entire weekend. They offer a chance to slow down, focus on one topic, and learn directly from master teachers in a way that simply isn’t possible in a shorter class format.
Intensives are included as available sessions with 4-Day Passes, 3-Day (Thursday-Saturday) Passes and Thursday-Only Passes. Drop-Ins for Intensives are also available.
